Even though there’s snow on the greens and fairways of Two Rivers Golf Club on the eastern edge of Dakota Dunes, there’s been plenty of activity near the clubhouse this fall. About 100 yards northwest of that building, the wooden frame of a large new building is starting to take shape. Once completed it will be the home of the golf club’s corporate offices as well as its corporate partners.
“We hope to finish sometime this spring,” said the club’s general manager Rodd Slater Monday morning. “I believe my office will be over there in the corporate office along with our corporate partners who’ve had offices in different locations around the area so far.” Slater was mum on just who the corporate partners were saying their names would be revealed at a later date — probably when the building was completed.
The general manager said the clubhouse will remain where it is. The new building is two stories tall with what looks to be a large window facing the southwest. There was previously a maintenance building that sat on the site where the new building now is. That was torn down this summer, Slater said.
There are going to be offices in the building and garages for the corporate partners’ vehicles. Slater said he didn’t know the size of the building in terms of square footage.
