Snow emergencies declared in North Sioux City and Sioux City

North Sioux City, S.D.

The City of North Sioux City is declaring a snow emergency effective 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.  Parking in the street during a snow emergency is prohibited.

Sioux City, Iowa

The City of Sioux City has declared a snow emergency that is set to begin Monday, January 8th at 7 a.m.

A snow emergency declaration means parking or leaving a vehicle unattended on an emergency snow route street, marked by a blue and white sign with a snowflake, is prohibited.

Vehicles may be parked on the odd side of the street on odd days of the month after 7 a.m. until 7 a.m. the following day, with vehicles parked on the even side of the street on even-numbered days.
