Whither goes the Dakota Dunes strip mall?

It’s been nearly nine months since Slowey Management, SRK Development and Dunes Realty announced that the new strip mall at 2 Rivers Drive on the eastern end of the Interstate 29 interchange in Dakota Dunes was ready for potential tenants. The Yankton-based Slowey Management developed the Holiday Inn Express and Convention Center adjacent to the new strip mall that’s been open since 2018. Hold the phone! A new 5G antenna was just installed on the Dakota Dunes water tower.

By Gary Dickson Drivers on Sioux Point Road and Dakota Dunes Boulevard may have been straining their necks trying to figure out what is being done to the Dunes water tower this last week. There was a boom and a person doing something to the structure. Was the tower being painted? Is there a leak? What else could be going on?
