A 40-year-old Beresford man, Cephas Joseph Wood, was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault after an argument with his girlfriend escalated. The victim reported he choked her during the confrontation. Wood has since been indicted and is held on a $5,000 bond, with his next court appearance scheduled for January 6, 2025.
