A 51-year-old man from Le Mars, Iowa, Lance Jerry Rus, was arrested on October 16 for possession of methamphetamine during a motorist assist in Union County. Observed acting nervously, he admitted to having meth in a tin after a search by law enforcement. He was indicted and has a court appearance scheduled.
